The Air Systems Breather Box is a portable Grade-D breathing air filtration system designed to safely supply clean, respirable air to a specified number of workers. It filters compressed air from an external compressor and continuously monitors air quality to ensure compliance for respirator use in demanding industrial environments.
This multi-stage system features a three-level filtration process. The first stage removes bulk water and particulates with an automatic drain. The second stage coalescing filter eliminates atomized oils, mists, and ultra-fine particulates, also with an automatic drain. The third stage carbon filter removes organic vapors and odors and includes a manual drain. Filter change indicators are standard across all three stages, and the system delivers 99.99% filtration efficiency at 0.01 micron. All Breather Box units are engineered to operate in an upright, closed position to prevent internal contamination.
The standard carbon monoxide (CO) airline monitor provides continuous air quality monitoring and operates on a disposable 9-volt battery, 8–16 VDC, or 115 VAC power. An external audible alarm and visual indicator alert workers if unsafe CO levels are detected. Remote alarm capability is included on all models except BB15-CO. Optional Point-of-Attachment (POA) boxes allow respirator air lines to extend beyond 300 feet, increasing flexibility on large job sites.
