OSHA 30 Hour Construction
Course Length: 30 Hours (4 days minimum)
Course Description: Our authorized outreach trainers have the ability to adjust some of the topics in the class to fit your company. Students will leave with general knowledge around hazards and controls in a variety of topics. This class takes a deeper dive and is a great foundation for front line leaders in building safe habits and creating a safer work environment. Upon completion students will receive an official OSHA outreach training card. Currently OSHA does not have a required expiration on the outreach trainings however only one card replacement can occur and your card can only be replaced during the first 5 years after training completion. OSHA 10 is not a pre-requisite and is not required to enroll in OSHA 30.
OSHA 30 Training Learning Outcomes:
- Introduction to OSHA and employee/employer rights
- OSHA Focus Four
- Identification of common hazards and mitigations/controls in common topics such as:
- PPE and Life Saving Equipment
- Power and Hand Tools
- Health Hazards in construction
- Excavations/Confined space
- Ladders and Stairways/Scaffolds
- Foundations of Safety Leadership
- Safety Management and Programs
Potential Supplemental Trainings:
- CPR/AED and First Aid
- LOTO
- Fall Protection- Basic or Competent
- Confined Space
