The X550 is a truck-counterweight, one-user mobile fall protection system. The anchor height is 22’ from the ground level, and the anchorage is in a fixed location.
The X550 is designed specifically for providing fall protection anchorage for one user while loading and unloading trucks. The drive-over thresholds allow a driver to feel when the truck is positioned as the counterweight, then procedures should be followed to ensure the truck does not move during the time a worker is tied off to the X550. There are minimum requirements and specifics to become familiar with before utilizing the X550.
When not in-use for active fall arrest, the X550 is free-standing, and features fork pockets for easy transport around a facility.
The X550 is built in an ISO-9001 factory, right here in the USA, and undergoes strict testing parameters, exceeding anchorage requirements for OSHA.
