Asbestos-AHERA Worker 32 Hours/SPANISH 4 day 

December 10th- 13th, 2018   8am-4pm

The AHERA Worker training accredits individuals to remove, encapsulate, enclose, repair or disturb friable or non-friable asbestos, and to handle asbestos material in any manner which may result in the release of asbestos fiber on an asbestos abatement project. This four-day course is accredited by the EPA and meets OSHA requirements for Class I & II work. The course covers many topics including safety, laws and regulations, and state-of-the-art work procedures.

Basic Rigging & Signalman 2 day

January 14-15th, 2019   8am-5pm

Day 1 of Basic Rigging Awareness is designed to teach participants the basic principles related to safe hoisting and rigging practices in the construction industry according to 29 CFR 1926.1400 Subpart CC.

Day 2 begins the signalman training in which participants will learn and understand the type of signals used during rigging operations and will be competent in using these signals. The Signalman training is based on participant's understanding of crane operations and the limitations of the equipment, including crane dynamics involved in swinging, raising, lowering and stopping loads, and in-boom deflection from hoisting loads.

Accident Investigation - 4hr 

Session will show the importance of accident investigation, how to talk to witnesses and what questions to ask when evaluating an accident scene. Also, how to determine casual factors, and how to identify corrective actions. Will look at several types of vehicle accidents to learn how to evaluate cause.

Confined Space Entry/English- 4 hour

OSHA's rule for confined spaces (construction) covers employers with employees working in confined spaces on construction work sites with one or more confined spaces. Confined space activities beyond maintenance such as construction, alteration, and/or repair, including painting and decorating, are covered under the construction rule. Sites include buildings, residences, highways, bridges, tunnels, utility lines, and other types of projects. Also potentially affected are general contractors, as well as specialty-trade construction contractors and employers engaged in some types of residential construction work.
EMPLOYEES: • The rule includes requirements for training, identification and assessment of confined spaces, hazard analysis, entering, working, exiting, and rescue for confined spaces containing a variety of different hazards.
