Description
This device can be used in conjunction with a full body harness or work seat along with the appropriate fall arrest system. As the lever on the device is moved, friction on the rope decreases and the device will descend.

Controlled descent kit with 50′ rope, with thimble eye on one end, two carabiners, 199D controlled descent device, and drawstring carry bag. FrenchCreek’s 199D is perfect for a controlled descent to a safe landing area. Simple in its design this device features an auto-locking mechanism should the user accidentally let go of the handle, or squeeze it in a panic situation.
